Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ5:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Lee's Auto Repair at (562) 438-8074; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

My review is long overdue. Iβm so thankful I found Leeβs Auto Body Shop and grateful to have an honest, trustworthy business like this right here in the neighborhood. Spencer, the owner, helped replace my brakes and fixed a noisy power steering motor that had been bothering me. From the start, he was straightforward, honest, and genuinely helpful. Itβs not easy to find someone you can trust with your vehicle these days, but Spencer is one of those rare people who treats customers fairly and takes pride in his work. The repairs were done right, the communication was excellent, and I never felt pressured into unnecessary work. Beyond being skilled and knowledgeable, Spencer is simply a kind and honest person. If youβre looking for an honest and reliable shop, I highly recommend Leeβs Auto Body Shop. Iβm thankful to have found them and glad theyβre part of our neighborhood.

A year ago. He touched my car and she has never ran the same since.. I took it back a month ago and he refused to work on it when he was the last one to touch it.. said he'd refer me to another mechanic. That didn't happen... hes only good for smog checks.. nothing else.. go at your own risk

I have been coming to Spencer for the last 5 years for oil changes and never had a problem until 2 days ago. I brought my 2013 infinity for an oil change and everything was perfectly fine until after the oil change was done and technician was talking to Spencer in a different language I didn't quite understand but i was wondering if perhaps something was found on my car? But no one said anything to me at that moment. Once the oil change was done and im ready to leave, I noticed the driver said door handle from my infinity was broken. It became loose to the point I could no longer open the driver side door from the outside, instead I had to go through passenger side and open it from the inside. Spencer walked towards my car and when I questioned Spencer about what had happened to my door handle? Spencer' technician walked towards my car and told Spencer in his language that my door handle was already that way. I told Spencer I'm sorry Spencer but the door handle was perfectly fine when I got here. Spencer look at me again and said his technician kept saying my door handle was broken. Once again I told him it was not like that.So it was his technician's word against mine. I tol
